On Sunday, I went to the Olympic Oval in Richmond, BC. It is the official Olympic stadium for speed skating. I went there as part of the Winter Festival, so I got to go skating. It was pretty cool, but my only thought at that time was: “Why is it so small? I bet only a couple thousand people could fit in there at once.” So I want to ask, how many people are going to go watch speed skating? If there aren’t many going, then I understand, but since it’s the Olympics, I thought many people would be going.

There has been a disease that’s been going around lately. It’s not life treatening and not untreatable, but some people have been known to die. It is the common flu. The fever, the dizziness, the sneezing and the coughing all come into play. Luckily, with our technology, there are flu shots that help prevent it. Back in the day, they were not so lucky. For example, the poor Helen. She became blind, deaf and she could not talk. Now, you’re wondering why I’m writing about it? Well, guess what…I have it.
Travel :D
•February 3, 2009 • Leave a CommentThis Saturday, my dad came back from his visit in China. He brought back many things. He got me a watch and my aunt got me some earrings.
While he was there, my mom and I had the house to our selves. It was actually quite boring and quiet. Luckily he was only gone for a week and not a month. I wish I could’ve gone back with him, but I couldn’t because I had school to go to.
Ears?
•January 28, 2009 • Leave a CommentSunday January the 25th was my 15th birthday. On that day, i got my ears pierced. It was really cool, but who would’ve thought that one of my earrings would come off on Tuesday morning? When i didn’t feel it on my ear, i panicked. Luckily i found the earring, but i could not put it back. That’s why my mom took me to the store and asked them what i should do. They told me to let it heal and come back on Saturday and repierce it. And that’s what i’m going to do. (*sigh* Why does everything bad happen to me??)
Mall Cop! <3
•January 20, 2009 • Leave a CommentOn Sunday January 18th, i went to watch “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” with my friend Erica. It was an awesome movie. Kevin James was hilarious! The theater was so packed that we had trouble finding a seat. The movie lasted 1 hour 30 minutes and it was funny for every minute of it. I recommend anyone who wants a laugh to go and watch it. You won’t be let down!
Hmmm….
•January 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentIt’s Wednesday. The first Wednesday of 2009, and it’s going to be torture. Why? Because I have Chinese school today. Maybe you think it’s not that big of a problem, but let me tell you something: you’ve never seen my teacher! She talks and talks and talks. She never lets anyone say anything. The good thing is, she hardly notices anything either, so I can talk to my friends. =] That is all. Next post coming next week. (Like I have a choice. Haha.)
